Problems we Solve

Commercial

Our Electricity Smart evaluation aims to solve the challenges faced within each area of a business to increase knowledge and maximise results.

Our team work with CEOs, CFOs, engineering managers and energy managers to pull together the needs within each key group to increase energy efficiency in commercial buildings

Bottom line results:
Our CEOs are very focused on bottom line results and do not have the time to digest the complex world of electricity costs across disparate reporting processes.

Competitive advantage:
Our CEOs need to remain competitive by keeping costs low in highly competitive commercial sectors. Certainty around budgeting is a key focus for our CEOs, especially when it comes to the rising cost of electricity.

Track spend:
Our energy intelligence products provide our CEOs with a central view to track electricity cost and understand savings.

Generate savings and income:
Our Demand and Frequency Response products help our CEOs to realise income streams and cost savings within weeks of implementation.

Business resilience:
Our storage and onsite generation products help to identify further savings and provide energy resilience for the long-term future, giving our CEOs the ability to ensure productivity is not interrupted.

New opportunities:
The energy world is changing daily. We proudly help our CEOs stay ahead of any technology or software advances that can provide a competitive advantage.

Our CFOs are focused on managing income and the bottom line but often do not have visibility on how electricity impacts the bottom line. Electricity is often seen as an uncontrollable cost so Buy SMART products, peak price reporting and demand profiling provides our CFOs with this detail.

Budget certainly:
Our CFOs need budget certainty and a way to track costs against plan, so our energy intelligence products provide great value to our detail orientated CFOs. Our aim is to turn electricity into a more predictable and controllable cost.

Reduce cost uncertainty:
We help our CFOs obtain up-to-date detail on electricity spend with real-time reporting. We are also able to provide income streams from Demand and Frequency Response programmes.

Optimising performance:
Our engineering managers need to ensure optimal performance of buildings. We recognise that building performance is of utmost importance, but we know that the cost of building performance can be impacted, often significantly by the cost of electricity.

Maximise cost efficient buildings:
We help our engineering managers to maximise building performance, measuring and monitoring asset performance and its impact on electricity cost.

Simplifying reporting:
Our engineering managers are always keen to reduce inefficiency and identify savings. We help our engineering managers to deliver the reports they need to understand what is driving energy cost and to identify, prioritise, implement and monitor asset upgrades.

Save cost and keep running:
Our Demand and Frequency Response products help our engineering managers to generate income and savings and our back up generation products help our engineering managers to keep buildings running if the grid fails.

Our energy manager’s role is to ensure that buildings are operating at maximum efficiency and meeting sustainability goals.

Limited budget:
Often without large budgets our energy managers need help to identify maximum impact projects to improve efficiency and generate income and cost savings.

Timely site reviews:
Our energy managers often spend a lot of time walking buildings to optimise building electricity use, so really benefit from our energy intelligence products that deliver visibility across multiple sites and ensure a proactive approach is taken to electrical efficiency

Accurate portfolio reporting; time short, our energy managers benefit from our single click reporting tools and real-time data

Project Evaluation:
Proficient at implementing cost saving projects our energy managers can measure and evaluate efficiency projects with our online reporting solutions

Project specific revenue:
Our Demand and Frequency Response products help our energy managers to generate income and savings directly attributable to them.

Hugely busy and often responsible for more than one site, our operations directors need to be kept well informed about site-by-site efficiency. Our operations directors need to ensure that operations are on budget and to remain competitive within their industry sector.

Daily reporting:
Timely and accurate data on a site by site basis is helpful to our operations directors to understand what drives energy cost and to identify process changes that can impact cost reduction goals.

Single source reporting:
Our operations directors want to reduce the amount of time spent on email and phone tracking down energy detail on a site-by-site basis. They value the reporting and alerts that our energy intelligence products deliver. They also benefit from the ability to prioritise based on this knowledge

Save cost and keep producing:
Our demand and frequency response products help our operations directors to generate income and savings and our onsite and back-up-generation products give our operations directors long term peace of mind about grid resilience and cost.

Keep product flowing:

Maximise cost efficient production:
We help our plant and engineering managers to maximise production, whilst measuring and monitoring the cost of production arising from changes in electricity costs by staying on top of demand charges.

Simplifying reporting:
Our plant and engineering managers are always keen to reduce cost and identify savings. So, we help our plant and engineering managers to deliver the reports they need to understand what is driving energy cost and to identify, prioritise, implement and monitor energy efficiency upgrades.
